The wild mountains of the majestic Andes range set the stage for / of an unforgettable 6-day trip along a route which was also followed by the troops under the command of General San Martin, our greatest hero, in the year 1817. You will get the chance to learn and revive memories of one of the most important deeds in our History: the Liberation of South America!
After an uphill ride to Espinacito, 4350m. above sea level, you get an impressive view of the highest mountain in America: the mythic Aconcagua.
Herds / flocks of innumerable guanacos and condors will be flying peacefully high above us. The observation of stars in the sky, regarded as the most limpid in the planet, will become an everlasting experience.
The quietness of the place, the sound of guitars and the rounds of mate by the campfire create an ideal ambiance to relax and make new friends.
Our long experience in all–included horse rides warrantees an unforgettable vacation.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Meeting place at Barreal. Dinner and accommodation in huts / lodges.
Day 2: Breakfast. Transfer to Pampa Negra on 4x4 wheel vehicles. Lunch. Distribution of saddles. Night at El Peñón.
Day 3: Ascension to El Espinacito (mountain passage- 4500m.) Dinner and accommodation in Las Vegas de Gallardo.
Day 4: We will ride through Los Patos Valley until we get to Valle Hermoso, where General San
Martin spent the night. Dinner and accommodation in Valle Hermoso.
Day 5: After leaving Valle Hermoso, we ride along the
Volcano river into the lake Laguna Escondida, where we get a breathtaking view of the Aconcagua.
Day 6: Our next destination is Rancho de Lata, where you can do night observation and “star reading” in the sky, regarded here as the most limpid sky in the planet.
Day 7: Breakfast in Rancho de Lata. We will ride past La Honda(4300 m) and arrive in Manantiales, where we will transfer back to Barreal on 4x4 wheel vehicles. Accommodation in lodges / huts.
