Itinerary:
Day 1: Horseback riding
In the morning we pick you up at your hotel in Mendoza and together we drive towards the mountains. We arrive to our base camp.
The guide, the gauchos and the horses are waiting for you, ready to leave. Once on the horse, we climb up paths and ride through beautiful landscapes. At dusk we arrive at the camp where we will warm us up around the campfire and eat the "asado". We spend the night under the stars or in tents.
Day 2: Horseback riding
After breakfast we go on riding, going deep into the mountains, climbing u p to 3,000 mts
(10,000 ft) and discovering the mysteries of the Andes. If we are lucky we might even spot some condors, Guanaco,
foxes, choiques (ostrich), etc. This is an unforgettable experience!!In the afternoon we reach our next campsite where we set up the camp, have dinner and rest.
Day 3:
Horseback riding
Today we ride up to 3,000 mts (10,000 ft) and from there we have a
beautiful view over the Uspallata Valley and the Andes. Far away from
stress, computers and phones, it is the perfect moment to enjoy nature
and relax! Then we ride to our next camp to have dinner and spend the
night.
Day 4:
Horseback riding
Today we will go down a gorge, following a river. It will be a perfect
day to take pictures if you haven't taken any so far! We go down in
altitude and at the same time you will see the variation in the
vegetation. After a break to have lunch and have a nap we go on riding
until we reach our last campsite. We will gather some wood and if you
feel fit, you can decide to have a walk around! In the evening we will
have our last dinner before going to rest.
Day 5: Horseback riding
Today will be our last day on horseback. We ride, enjoying the last views of the inside of the Andes until we reach our final destination in the afternoon. From there, transfer to Mendoza by private vehicle and end of one of the most exciting adventure the Andes can offer us
Uspallata Valley;
Uspallata is a small town in a valley at 1,900 - 2,500
mts (6,200 - 8,200 ft) of altitude. It lies on the road which crosses the Andes between Mendoza and Santiago
de Chile. It is located about 100 km
(60 miles) west of Mendoza and there was once the Transandine Railway which passed through the town on its way from Mendoza to Los Andes in Chile.

Remarks:
a) Experience: This horseback ride is suitable for beginners as well
as experienced riders. The horses used are gentle and specialized for
the mountain paths. Therefore no previous experience nor any
horse-riding knowledge is necessary.
b) Price: The best rate is reached with a minimum of 3 persons, otherwise price
will be slightly different.
c) Itinerary:
Itineraries can be altered according to the weather conditions and the
riders.
