Itinerary:

Day 1: Mendoza
Reception at the local bus station or airport, and transportation to the Hotel.
A representative of TREKKING TRAVEL will be there to meet you. We will take you to a nice 4 stars Hotel in the downtown of Mendoza.
After you have taken a rest from your traveling we will check out your equipment.
We will provide you with a "clouds of gauchos"
Dinner in a restaurant in Mendoza Capital.

Day 2: Cabaña Tulumaya
During the morning, transfer to Cabaña Tulumaya, located 60 km from Mendoza City. Field tasks: to know about caws milking, bread kneading, tasks of separation of the cattle, practice of "pialar" the cattle (to herd).
Typical lunch. In the evening return to the stay with the animals.
Supper: "carne a la olla" (stew). Night

Day 3: Cabaña Tulumaya - Arroyo Hondo
In the morning breakfast, continuation with the great adventure by hose during mid day. In the evening, transfer by car to the south of Mendoza, to "Valle de Uco" until the Ranch, "Arroyo Hondo" (3 hours, by car approx). Dinner and Lodging in the Ranch.

Day 4: Arroyo Hondo
"Arroyo Hondo" is an establishment dedicated to the agricolo-cattle activity sharing the daily experiences of its settlers: the family and the people of field, immersed in a totally natural and moved away area of the own contamination of the great cities.
Night in the comfortable stay.

Day 5 and Day 6
Participate in the rural tasks, as it milks and heard, as much as an observant or as a protagonist. It is an ideal place to know, customs of the "gaucho", this legendary personage, matador with the handling of the capable horse and to break through between mountains. Return to the stay. Lodging last night in the stay "Arroyo Hondo

Day 7: Horseback riding in Villavicencio
Departure in a private vehicle from Arroyo Hondo to Villavicencio (4 hours, by car approx).. We arrive at a mountain post where muleteers and horses are waiting for you ready to go. We start one of the most amazing adventure the Andes can offer us. We ride on mountain paths, discovering the Andes, away from any kind of stress until we reach our camp. Fire camp and "asado" (The famous Argentinean barbecue). We spend our first night in the mountain, enjoying the tranquility and the stars (We sleep in igloo shape tent)

Day 8 Horseback riding in Villavicencio
After breakfast, we get ready to go on the ride through the mountains. We stop shortly to have lunch and we continue until "Agua de los Marayes",
place where we will set up our camp.
Campfire and dinner: braised barbecue. Then night under the stars.

Day 9: Horseback riding in Villavicencio
Today we will ride westwards until we come to the ancient ruins of the "Jesuits Mines" ("Paramillos Ghost Town") which we will visit. Near this place is the famous petrified "Darwin" wood. Then we go on this incredible adventure in direct contact with nature and fresh air. We reach a mountain refuge where we will spend the night. The refuge has beds, bathroom, hot water and a kitchen.

Day 10: After breakfast we get ready. The ride takes us each day deeper into the mountains, passing peaks over 3,000 meters until we reach our next camp. Once the tents are pitched we collect some dry firewood for the bonfire while the guide prepares a comforting dinner.

Day 11: After breakfast the ride takes us until a view point from where you will be able to see all the way we have been riding for the last 5 days and to enjoy the majesty and the magic of the beautiful Andes landscapes. After 4 hours riding we reach the "Casa de Piedra", a 100-years old house, built in the middle of the mountains. Here you can enjoy hot water bathrooms and sleep on beds. Dinner and campfire in the house

Day 12: Today will be our last day on horseback and we will arrive to the Estancia Las Chilcas. Dinner with Folk Singer.
Night in Las Chilcas Ranch.

Day 13: Winner tour In the morning, visits the principal wineries and vineyards from Mendoza, located in the district "Luján de Cuyo" and "Maipú" where are the vine growing establishments, accompanied by professional guides who show you the processing and production of the wine.
There we will have lunch and afterwards a private vehicle will transfer us to Mendoza.

Day 14:Transfer to airport or bus station.
